I'm hesitant to get rid of it by using a 34t CAMO bashspiderīased on comments here and my research so far, if I just run standard cranks with a 2x spider with a bash on the big ring position (49mm), then the small ring will be at 44 mm, which is quite far off from the intended 52mm boost chainline. I've found that with shorter cranks I need to go down a chainring size to have the same perceived gear range, and the additional ground clearance of a small chainring is appreciated. I run a low bb because I love the feeling in berms and steeps, but with short cranks (145mm) to keep some ground clearance in the rocky stuff. The CAMO bashspider would be the solution I'd pick if they had a 28/30t version.
